Coagulants are one of the more common chemicals used in water and wastewater treatment plants and there often appears to be numerous coagulants that will work on any given water or wastewater stream. However, of those water or wastewater coagulants, it is very likely that one coagulant will outperform all others in terms of cost and performance. This is especially true if the coagulant is added in the correct manner and at the correct pH.

HYDRAPRIME 1000 – A range of aluminium based inorganic coagulants. This range is designed to promote the coagulation of fine and colloidal matter and generate particles that will easily flocculate and allow rapid settling or flotation in a water or wastewater treatment plant.
HYDRAPRIME 2000 – A range of iron based inorganic coagulants. Like the HP-1000 range, these coagulants also promote the agglomeration and flocculation of fine and colloidal material for fast settling or flotation in water treatment plants.
HYDRAPRIME 3000 – A range of calcium based inorganic coagulants. This range of coagulants also promote the agglomeration and flocculation of fine and colloidal material. Furthermore, our 3200 and 3300 series help improve sludge dewaterability resulting in lower polymer use and a drier sludge.
HYDRAPRIME 4000 – A range of magnesium based inorganic coagulants. Like the HP-3000 range, these coagulants also promote the agglomeration and flocculation of fine and colloidal material. Just like our 3200 and 3300 series, our 4200 and 4300 series help improve sludge dewaterability resulting in lower polymer use and a drier sludge.
HYDRAPRIME 5000 – A range of organic coagulants designed for coagulation and emulsion breaking. This range offers the advantages of being effective over a wide pH range, of requiring minimum dose rates and they help the plant produce the lowest possible sludge volumes. Very economical and easy to handle.
HYDRAPRIME 6000 – A range of blended coagulants that combine the advantages of the 1000, 2000 and 3000 series with that of the 5000 series. Especially suitable for hard to treat waters and emulsion breaking. Suitable for all types of separation processes including clarifier, DAF and multimedia filtration.
HYDRAPRIME 7000 – A range of single shot, “all-in-one” chemistry containing coagulants and polymers designed for oily and difficult to treat waters. The result is clear water and a sludge that is non-leachable, easy to handle and dewaters well. This product is especially suited to batch or continuous systems treating low volumes.
